FAT AROUND THE WAIST IS
DANGEROUS
Abdominal obesity is a real problem with an
increased risk of diabetes,
metabolic syndrome and mortality from heart attack. Fat around the hips is
not as dangerous.
Fat around the waist means fat around the heart and viscera. Visceral
obesity is more related to increased cholesterol and high levels of
inflammation.
Obesity is now viewed as chronic
inflammatory disorder.
Overeating and faulty
digestion is pro-inflammatory.
The best way to reduce inflammation and to burn fat is to minimize
amount of carbohydrates in your diet (bread, cereal, pasta, biscuits,
sweets, alcohol, rice, fruit) and to include protein in every meal to stabilize
level of sugar in your blood.
Carbohydrates stimulate hunger, so the more you eat, the more cravings
you going to have.
Exercise, reducing stress, plenty of water, fish oils and chromium
supplements are very helpful to lose weight.
