CAUSES OF BLOATING

Bloating is a very common complaint and has many causes; however, the most likely explanations are:-

  • Imbalance of gut microflora; overgrowth of bad bacteria

  • Food allergies

  • Lactose or fructose intolerance

  • Liver sluggishness

Inadequate secretion of digestive enzymes

  • Eating too much of wrong foods

  • Eating in a hurry or when anxious.

Some of the common triggers of bloating include:

  • Foods such as white bread, pasta, processed carbohydrates, excessive sugar

  • Beans and legumes;

  • Dairy foods;

  • Carbonated drinks;

  • Incompatible food combinations, such as melons or grapes with cereal and milk and double proteins, eg ham and cheese;

  • Too many sulphur-containing foods, such as the Brassica family like onions, garlic, cabbage.

How should we prevent bloating?

The first thing is to look at your diet. Too many processed carbohydrates like cereals, sweets, pasta, bread, beer, soft drinks (Coke) very often contributes to bloating and digestive upsets. Try to eliminate processed foods and have instead protein with vegetables like omelettes for breakfast or stir fries for lunch or dinner. Combine fish with salad.

It's very likely that you are having too much bad bacteria, so gut detox is necessary. Product called Vitaklenz (for children and adults) is a great solution for this problem. Vitaklenz is a combination of antimicrobial herbs killing the bad organisms living in your digestive system.
